Columbus Clingstones fans can see the team’s new mascot debut at this community event
The Columbus Clingstones will introduce their new mascot, Fuzzy, to the public this week.
The unveiling will happen Friday from 4-6 p.m. at the Clingstones’ pop-up shop at 1243 Broadway, the team announced Tuesday..
Fuzzy’s name was chosen following a contest where fans voted on the name. The name was chosen over three other choices: Pit, Stoney and Cobbler.
Fans will be able to meet Fuzzy, take photos with him and get his autograph, according to the news release. The event will include free refreshments and specials on select store merchandise.
“Fuzzy’s friendly smile and playful personality will come to life so fans can get a glimpse of the energy and excitement the mascot will bring this season,” the release says.
