Woman dies while incarcerated in Muscogee County Jail. GBI to conduct autopsy, coroner says

A woman has died while incarcerated at the Muscogee County Jail, according to Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan.
Bryan identified the woman as 41-year-old Jennifer Nicole McFay. McFay was pronounced dead at 7:25 a.m. Monday, he said.
Bryan said no foul play is expected. McFay’s body will be sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for an autopsy, according to Bryan. Bryan said McFay was charged with cruelty to children and simple battery.
