The Columbus Police Department is investigating the death of a woman found dead in a vacant parking lot Saturday in the 3400 block of Victory Drive, according to authorities.

Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan identified the victim as Kizzy Adams, 45. The cause of death is undetermined, according to Bryan.

He said foul play does not appear to be involved, but CPD’s Violent Crimes Unit is leading the investigation, according to a post on the department’s X page.

Adams’ body has been sent for an autopsy, according to Bryan.
