Columbus pedestrian struck by vehicle, taken to hospital with critical injuries

Police are investigating a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident that occurred Tuesday night in Columbus, according to the Columbus Police Department.

Police responded at 10:08 p.m. to the accident in the area of Buena Vista Road and Omega Drive in east Columbus, according to police.

Police said the pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries. CPD’s motor squad is leading the investigation, according to the post.
