Muscogee County Coroner IDs victim of fatal car crash on Macon Road in Columbus

The victim of a car crash at a Columbus intersection Tuesday morning has been identified, according to Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan.

Bryan identified the victim of the collision at the intersection of Macon Road and Calumet Drive as 73-year-old Sammie Seldon, of Box Springs, Georgia.

Bryan said Seldon was pronounced dead at 9:42 a.m. at a local hospital.

Seldon had blunt-force trauma injuries, according to Bryan.
