A Seale man is dead after a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Russell County, according to a news release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The news release says the crash occurred around 3:28 a.m. Saturday on Russell County 24 about 11 miles south of Phenix City. ALEA identified the victim as 19-year-old Jaxson Cole Griggs of Seale, Alabama.

The 2017 Ford F-250 Griggs was driving left the roadway, struck a culvert and a tree, according to ALEA. Griggs was pronounced dead at the scene, the news release says.
