A news release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says Corbin Lendy Regan, 19, was fatally injured when the 2022 Mack MD6 truck he was driving left the road, struck an embankment, then struck a utility pole and overturned.

Regan was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to ALEA.

Russell County Coroner Arthur Sumbry Jr. told the Ledger-Enquirer Regan was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:46 a.m.

The crash occurred around 6:38 a.m. on Howard Road, about 20 miles south of Phenix City, according to ALEA.
