Pedestrian killed after being hit by vehicle in Columbus, coroner says

A man was struck by a vehicle and killed in Columbus on Sunday, according to Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan.

Bryan identified the victim as Brent Hart, 42, who was pronounced dead at 3:31 a.m. An autopsy will be performed, Bryan said.

A post on the Columbus Police Department’s X page said the motor squad is investigating the incident. The incident occurred at Miller Road and Bush Avenue, according to the post.
