Funeral arrangements set for Alexis Hill, the fatally shot Columbus Dollar General manager
Funeral arrangements have been scheduled for Alexis Hill, the 44-year-old manager of the Dollar General on Victory Drive in Columbus who authorities say was fatally shot by a customer June 23.
Hill’s obituary and a news release list the following schedule:
- The first viewing will be July 2, from 1-3 p.m., at Charles E. Huff’s International Funeral Home, 927 Fifth Ave., in Columbus
- A second viewing also will be July 2, from 4-6 p.m., at The Life Church of Columbus, 1015 13th St.
- The funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. July 3 at Cathedral of Prayer, 2201 Buena Vista Road in Columbus
- Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, in Columbus.
All the events are open to the public, according to the funeral home’s news release.
Hill’s family established an account at GoFundMe.com to raise money for her children, according to the funeral home.
