The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul is coming to Columbus.

Mary J. Blige will perform at 8 p.m. Oct. 31 at the Columbus Civic Center, according to Mike Blackwell Promotions. Tamar Braxton, the youngest sister of Grammy award-winner Toni Braxton, will open for Blige, Mike Blackwell said.

Tamar Braxton was recently revealed as one of the celebrity contestants on this season's "Dancing with the Stars," which airs on ABC.

Blige, 44, is a nine-time Grammy-award winner known for the hits "Not Gon' Cry," "No More Drama" and "Be Without You," among many others.

In addition to her Grammy awards, she has 30 Grammy nominations and has sold more than 50 million albums.

Blige's 12th studio album, "The London Sessions," was released last November.

Ticket prices for the Halloween concert will start at $57, with price options at $67 and $77. They'll go on sale Sept. 11 with a pre-sale Sept. 10. For instructions on the pre-sale tickets, listen to Magic 101 on Monday.

Everyone who goes to the show will get a code for a free download of her latest album.
