Horace Posey Dies Sunday From Attack
A successor to Russell County Coroner Horace L. Posey, who died Sunday night of a heart attack, will be appointed by Alabama Gov. George Wallace.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. has warned a group of followers in Montgomery, Ala., that Negroes must learn to help each other and that more civil rights activity must be transferred to Northern cities.
Education
Fall commencement at Auburn University are scheduled at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. Dr. Wallace M. Alston Sr., President of Agnes Scott College, will deliver the commencement address.
