Callaway Gardens closed until Jan. 15
Callaway Gardens will be closed until Jan. 15.
A news release from Callaway Gardens said it is taking advantage of a timeframe with historically low visitation to close the operations to the public.
Callaway Gardens also did this last year.
During the time it is closed, needed maintenance will be done at the facility.
While the park will be closed, agents will be available from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. to answer questions and book reservations. People should call 1-800-852-3810.

Owned and operated by the nonprofit Ida Cason Callaway Foundation, Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Ga., includes a garden, resort and residential on thousands of acres.
Highlights include a butterfly conservatory, discovery center, chapel, inland beach and nature trails.
In addition, Callaway Gardens offers more than 70,000 square feet of meeting space, guest rooms, restaurants, shops, golf, tennis, fishing and more.
