A 35-year-old Hurtsboro woman was killed early this morning in single-vehicle wreck on Alabama 51 five miles south of Opelika, Ala.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said Lawanda Kelley was killed when the 1998 Ford Expedition she was driving left the roadway and overturned at 6:10 a.m. The woman, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene, according to a release.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate, said Sgt. Steve Jarrett with the ALEA.
