3 Georgians Die
In Tokyo Crash
Three persons from Atlanta were among the 124 killed Saturday in the crash of a British Jetliner near Mount Fuji in Japan, about 70 miles from Tokyo.
They were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Clay Sellers, Jr. and Myron G. Peterson.
Kidnap Hoax
A reported kidnapping case, which had local, state and federal law officers combing the area last week for an armed bandit, was exposed as a hoax Saturday, police said. Joseph Lee Harper, 46, 917 Charleston Ave., walked into police headquarters and told them he made the story up.
Religion
Official Vatican documents released Saturday night show that Pope Pius XII, in wartime letters to the Bishop of Berlin, praised German Roman Catholics who helped Jewish victims of Nazism.
