Ruptured pipe forces Aquatic Center pool to close

One of the pools at the Columbus Aquatic Center will be closed for up to 10 days, according to a release from the city.

When staff arrived to the pool Sunday, they discovered a ruptured pipe. The therapeutic pool remains open.

“There is no where locally to purchase the necessary parts to make the repairs,” the release said. “The parts was ordered first thing Monday morning. It is anticipated to take 10 days to get the parts and make the repairs.”
