Update: Missing husband, wife found safe
The married couple reported missing from Columbus were found safe, the Columbus Police Department’s Special Victims Unit confirmed Friday afternoon.
Before their disappearance, Robert Bell and Mae L. Bell, both 86, were last seen Thursday night traveling in his red 2008 P.T. Cruiser in Valdosta. Officials have yet to release the details on when and where they were located but confirmed that they were unharmed.
The man has dementia and the woman is a stroke victim that needs a wheelchair to maneuver, police noted.
