World-class business leaders and executives will serve as panelists for the second Bob Wright Symposium on Business Empowerment, according to a news release issued Tuesday.
The event will be held Aug. 18, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center, and hundreds are expected to attend.
Last year's symposium drew 300 people, with Aflac CEO Dan Amos as keynote speaker.
“We are excited to again bring this level of successful entrepreneurs, industry trailblazers and respected thought-leaders to Columbus and the Chattahoochee region,” said Dr. Robert L. Wright, a successful Columbus philanthropist and businessman who launched the program a year ago. “We are also looking forward to building on the legacy of the symposium and the opportunity to contribute to the future success of local students who are pursuing their goal of higher education.”
