City mostly shutting down for Memorial Day

All Consolidated Government offices except for emergency services will be closed for Memorial Day next Monday, May 30, the city announced today.

Monday’s garbage pickup will be picked up on Wednesday. Otherwise, garbage pickup for the week remains unchanged.

The Parks and Recreation offices will be closed, but the recreation facilities will remain open. Similarly, the Civic Center will be closed, but the Columbus Ice Rink will be open.

There will be no Metra bus service on Monday. Only the 8 a.m. Recorder’s Court will be held.

Consolidated Government services will return to normal on Tuesday, May 31.
