Auto parts supplier Mando America will be seeking 30 employees Thursday in Columbus

Auto parts manufacturer Mando America, which operates a plant in Hogansville, Ga., will be in search of about 30 workers Thursday at the Columbus Career Center.

The recruiting event takes place 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at the 700 Veterans Parkway center, which is operated by the Georgia Department of Labor.

Hogansville is located off Interstate 85 about an hour north of Columbus.

Mando is seeking machine and computerized numerical control machine operators, as well as engineers, production supervisors and maintenance technicians, the labor department said.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or a general education diploma (GED. An associates or vocational degree is recommended, but not mandatory. Applicants should dress well for the event and possible interviews.

Those who will be attending the recruitment are urged to visit www.employgeorgia.com to create an account and prepare a resume or upload an existing one to the site. It will make the process Thursday simpler and faster.
