Renowned Doobie Brothers coming to Columbus
The Doobie Brothers will appear at the Columbus Civic Center on Nov. 18 at 8 p.m.
With hits such as “Black Water,” “Long Train Runnin’,” “China Grove” and “Takin’ it to the Streets,” the Doobie Brothers have been performing since the 1970s, when they enjoyed the height of their success.
The band has sold more than 48 million albums and won four Grammys. They released their latest album, Southbound, in late 2014.
In all, the Doobies have tallied up five top 10 singles and 16 top 40 hits. Beginning with their multimillion selling sophomore collection “Toulouse Street” (1972), the Doobies have three multiplatinum, seven platinum and 14 Gold albums.
Tickets for the concert will go on sale to the general public beginning Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. through Civic Center Box office or through Ticketmaster.com, or by calling 888-745- 3000. Tickets will be $55-$65.
