DOT announces lane closings for road striping on bridges along I-185 corridor
Contractors for the Georgia Department of Transportation will be closing single lanes on several bridges on and over Interstate 185 in Troup and Muscogee Counties from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. this Saturday, the DOT announced today.
The work will be done at:
The U.S. 29 Connector and I-85 over I-185 between the I-85 Exit to Lagrange and I-85 entrance to Lagrange/Montgomery.
Hopewell Church Road over I-185 between SR 219 and Hopkins Farm Road.
Mountain Hill Road over I-185 between Winding Creek Court and Kennon Road.
I-185 northbound and southbound lanes over Smith Road.
Hubbard Road over I-185 between Fortson Road and Whitesville Road.
Williams Road over I-185 between Williams Way and Welcome Center Road.
Double Church Road over I-185 between Big Creek Drive and Peppercorn Drive.
Motorists are asked to use caution, reduce their speed and be alert to changing traffic conditions in work zones.
