Uptown Columbus unveils fall line-up
Uptown Columbus announced its fall line-up Thursday morning featuring many well-known festivals and events coming back to Columbus.
One of the highlights is the return of the Budweiser Clydesdales on Broadway in November.
The Big ToDo Concert Series is returning with seven weeks of local favorites and newcomers, including the Jimmy Buffett tribute band, Sons of Sailors, Peggy Jenkins & the Bizness, the Tom Petty tribute band and The Breakdowns.
The newest addition to the line-up is the No Barriers Challenge held next April. The race pairs up competitors with adaptive athletes, people who have had an amputation but still compete with a prosthetic limb. The race has not been held in Columbus before, but it should be popular with residents, especially those with a Fort Benning connection, said Vice President of Community Relations and Marketing Rebecca Zajac.
