Warrant issued for suspect in Aug. 29 robbery of cabbie

A day after seeking the public’s help to identify a man in surveillance photos, Columbus police have issued a warrant for a suspect in the Aug. 29 robbery of a Co-Op cab driver.

The suspect was identified as Harold Lamant Moore, 37, of Columbus. Police said a massive response from the public on Monday resulted in authorities identifying Moore.

Moore should be considered armed and dangerous and his arrest should be left to police. Anyone with information on his location should call 911.

Moore is described as black, with brown eyes and balding black hair. He is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weights 220 pounds. He has tattoos with the words “Harold” on his left forearm, “1440” on right forearm, “Red” and “Lakita” on right bicep.
