Columbus police seek identity of suspects in burglary, fraud

Authorities are searching for a suspects in connection with an incident in which a home was burglarized October 21, 2016 and the card stolen from the residence was used at multiple Lowe’s retail stores in north Alabama, including Huntsville, Athens, Hartselle, Madison and Decatur, according to police.

The Columbus Police Department’s Financial Crimes Unit took to Facebook Monday morning to ask for the public’s help identifying suspects in a residential burglary that occurred on Oct. 21.

After the theft, a card stolen from the home was used at multiple Lowe’s retail stores in the northern Alabama area, including Huntsville, Athens, Hartselle, Madison and Decatur, officials said in a news release including photos of the suspects involved.
