Two men were arrested Thursday in connection with the death of 28-year-old Kenneth Justin Williamson of Eufaula, who was found shot late Monday behind his girlfriend’s Opelika residence, according to a news release from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

Tristan Lang Glover, 20, of Phenix City and Willie Frank Granger, 20, of Eufaula were charged with his murder. Both were booked into the Lee County Detention Facility on a $150,000 bond.

Lee County deputies were called to a shooting at a Mobile Home Park in the 300 block of Lee Road 114 around 10:39 p.m. Monday. Upon arrival, they found Williamson lying in his girlfriend’s backyard with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the scene around 12:08 a.m. Tuesday, according to officials.

According to statements from witnesses and neighbors, the Williamson went to the home uninvited and was confronted by two male guests visiting the address.

There were two women and two children on the property at the time of the shooting.

On Wednesday, murder warrants were issued for Glover and Granger in connection with the incident. The agencies who assisted the LCSO with its search were the Eufaula Police Department, the Barbour County Sheriff’s Office and the Abbeville Police Department.

Glover was taken into custody around 3 a.m. Thursday during a traffic stop on Highway 431 South in Abbeville, Ala. Around noon that same day, Granger was arrested at an Eufaula apartment, according to the release.

Authorities said they also recovered a firearm in Henry County they believe was used in the shooting.
