Opelika police seek IDs on suspects in theft attempt at TJ Maxx

The Opelika Police Department is trying to identify two people who attempted to take items from TJ Maxx on Monday.

A man and a woman entered the 2185 Tiger Town Parkway business and both removed several items from display racks. With items concealed, the man attempted to leave the store before he was stopped by asset protection personnel.

A struggle ensued with the personnel before the man fled from the store. Seconds later, the woman also left the store.
