Teen charged in Eufaula car break-ins

The Criminal Investigation Division of the Eufaula Police Department has charged a juvenile in connection with about a dozen car break-ins, police said Friday on its Facebook page.

The juvenile was taken into custody and held by the Alabama Department of Youth Services. Police said other persons of interest have been developed in the crimes and more arrests are pending.

None of the names of the suspects was released. The open investigation will continue.
