Teen shot near Veterans Parkway

A 16-year-old boy was shot Tuesday afternoon near Veterans Parkway, Columbus police said.

He was treated at the Midtown Medical Center and released.

Authorities were called to the intersection of 35th Street and Earline Avenue around 1:23 p.m. Tuesday to investigate the shooting. They found the teen wounded on the scene.

Officials have yet to release additional details about the incident, but they confirmed that no arrests have been made. The shooting remains under investigation.
