Teen, 15, killed in three-vehicle crash outside Tuskegee, Ala.
A 15-year-old teen was killed just outside of Tuskegee on Wednesday in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 85, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said.
The teen of Montgomery wasn’t identified after the 4:07 p.m. crash at the 32 mile marker on the interstate. Authorities said the teen was a passenger in a Chrysler Pacifica and pronounced dead at the scene.
Alabama State Troopers said the Chrysler was struck by a 2003 Nissan Frontier pickup driven by Daniel Wade Edwards, 52, of Gallion. The impact sent the Chrysler into a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder.
The teen wasn’t using a seat belt.
The driver of the Chrysler and another passenger also were injured in the crash which remains under investigation by troopers.
