Special to the Ledger-Enquirer

Columbus police are searching for two people who broke into Banner Buildings on Warm Springs Road Tuesday night, according to a report.

An officer responded late Tuesday night to a reported burglary at the business on 4011 Warm Springs Road. Banner Buildings sells free-standing, portable buildings like sheds, garages and gazebos.

The owner of the business, Jon Haralson, said security cameras caught two people breaking into the building and stealing $5,000 worth of tools.

“It’s the second time in six months I’ve been hit,” Haralson said.

The identities of the suspects are not known, but Haralson hopes the security camera footage will help identify them.

“They walked straight up to the camera,” he said. “We got a really clear picture.”
