Shots fired into house near Warm Springs Road

Shots were fired into a Pierpont Avenue house near Warm Springs Road early Monday, according to a report from the Columbus Police Department.

The home was struck with multiple bullets, but no one was harmed when the shots rang out between 3:11 and 3:26 a.m.

Authorities were called to the 2900 block of Pierpont Avenue after someone reported hearing shots in the area around 3:12 a.m. Monday. When the arrived on the scene, an individual with multiple bullet holes in their home flagged him down.

A police report indicates that five people may have been in or around the home at the time of the shooting. No suspect descriptions were released.
