Columbus teen charged with statutory rape

A Columbus teenager is facing a charge of statutory rape, according to a news release from the police department.

Andre Hamilton, 17, was arrested Sunday on outstanding warrants.

He is scheduled to appear Wednesday at 9 a.m. in Columbus Recorder’s Court.
