One shot, another injured in armed robbery outside Eufaula home
Eufaula, Ala., police are investigating a Thursday night robbery and shooting that left two people hospitalized, according to a news release.
Police said three men approached two residents in the yard of a home on West Union Street and demanded their wallets around 9:10 p.m. Thursday. An altercation ensued and one victim was struck in the head by an unknown object while the other was shot in the shoulder, the report said.
The suspects reportedly stole one of the victim’s wallets before running north toward Barbour Street.
Eufaula Fire and Rescue transported the victims to Medical Center Barbour where they were listed in stable condition Friday morning.
Another gunshot projectile went into the side of an occupied neighboring residence. There were no other injuries.
