Man with gunshot wound drives himself to hospital
A man who drove himself to the hospital late Thursday was the victim of a gunshot wound to the leg, police in Opelika, Ala., said Friday.
Police were called to a shooting in the 500 block of Raintree Street about 10:40 p.m. After arriving on the scene, police said the victim had driven himself to the emergency room of East Alabama Medical Center.
The victim was admitted for treatment but no report on his condition was available.
