Woman allegedly waves gun outside of apartment after dispute over fireworks

A 30-year-old woman waved a firearm outside of the Riverwalk Townhomes on Wedgefield Court late Tuesday after a dispute over fireworks, authorities said.

Chuqita Tyson was arrested in connection with the incident at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday and charged with reckless conduct. She was booked into the Muscogee County Jail, but later released on bond.

Authorities said they were called to the Riverwalk Townhomes at 2500 block of Wedgefield Court around 11:39 p.m. Tuesday to investigate a dispute.

An arrest report states that Tyson waved a firearm at multiple people after an altercation about fireworks. No injuries were reported.

Additional details concerning the incident have yet to be released.
