Officers with the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Investigative Unit and the Special Response Team arrested six people on drug and weapons charges after executing a “no-knock” search warrant Tuesday afternoon.
Detavius Burtin, 18, Jeffery Kimbrough, 20, Jameson Lawrence, 18, and Cameron King, 21, have been charged with possession of cocaine with intent, possession of ecstasy with intent and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Jazzmen Wolfe, 25, was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine with the intent and possession of ecstasy with intent.
William Harp, 36, was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine with intent, possession of ecstasy with intent, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The warrant was the result of an investigation the sheriff’s office undertook after receiving multiple reports of drug activity at the house at 347 25th Ave., authorities said in a news release on Wednesday.
Police recovered 12.5 grams of cocaine, 9.9 grams of marijuana and 21 tablets of ecstasy. They also seized a Ruger .380 pistol and $1,409 in cash.
