Police in West Point arrest murder suspect
Police in West Point, Ga,. have arrested a suspect in the drive-by shooting death of Sherika Trammell.
The fatal shooting took place May 17.
According to a police report, arrested and charged with murder was Desron Deshawn Young of West Point.
Young had been listed as a suspect along with Erica Parkmond.
Police say Trammell was walking in a housing area on East 12th Street around 10:30 p.m. when she was shot. She was transported to George H. Lanier Hospital in Valley, Ala. where she died.
