Four arrested in connection to Eufaula gas station brawl
Police have arrested four people in connection to a massive fight at a Eufaula Citgo on Eufaula Avenue that included 20-30 gunshots.
Terrance Lewis, 23, was arrested for prohibited possession of a firearm.
Marcus Scott, 18, Trey Douglas, 20, and an unidentified juvenile were arrested for disorderly conduct.
Police were called to the location shortly before midnight on July 2 after gunshots were heard.
“This behavior should not be tolerated in a civilized society, and we cannot emphasize enough to the other persons attending this gathering how much your lives were jeopardized,” officials stated in a Facebook post. “It is incomprehensible that anyone can find this behavior acceptable, and while this was an impromptu and isolated incident, any future disregard for society displayed in this manner will be immediately dealt with ... swiftly and harshly.”
Police said that store surveillance, witness video and social media videos helped them identify suspects. Police also said that additional suspects have been identified, and that they have obtained warrants for their arrest.
