Auburn police charge man with burglaries
Police in Auburn, Ala. have arrested a 27-year-old man and charged him with two counts of burglary third degree and two counts of theft of property third degree.
According to a police report, arrested was Jean M. Long of Auburn.
The arrest stems from an investigation by Auburn police into separate burglaries that occurred on June 23 and a business and storage building located on Bee Hive Road.
Police say someone forced entry into the buildings and stole power tools and lawn equipment valued at more than $2,300.
Long became a suspect in that case with police saying some property was recovered.
