Homeless woman loitering on Cusseta Road faces prostitution charge

A homeless woman was taken into custody early Saturday and charged with loitering for the purpose of prostitution at Cusseta Road and 32nd Avenue, Columbus police said.

Selenthia Blackshear, 26, was charged with loitering for the purpose of prostitution after she was found about 4 a.m. sitting at the corner of 32nd Avenue and Cusseta Road. The woman said she has been arrested on the charge in the past.

Blackshear who is also known as “Sexy Black” was held in the Muscogee County Jail for an 8 a.m. Thursday hearing in Recorder’s Court.
