Columbus woman arrested after stabbing man in chest, police say

A 27-year-old woman was accused of stabbing a man in the chest Saturday afternoon at an apartment in the 4100 block of Rosemont Drive, according to Columbus police.

Carlisa Copeland, 27, of Columbus was charged with aggravated assault and booked into the Muscogee County Jail. She was booked into the Muscogee County Jail.

Columbus police were called to St. Francis Hospital around 3:15 p.m. Saturday to investigate a stabbing. Officials found the victim suffering from multiple wounds, including one to the chest.
