Man pleads not guilty to molesting 13-year-old twice at Columbus apartment

A man accused of molesting a 13-year-old girl twice early Monday in an apartment near Cooper Creek Parkway appeared in Columbus Recorder’s Court on Wednesday.

Christopher Sizemore, 25, pleaded not guilty to two counts of child molestation. He was booked in the Muscogee County Jail under bonds totaling $30,000.

Judge Julius Hunter bound the case over to Superior Court.

Columbus police were called to an apartment within 1 mile of Cooper Creek Parkway around 7:30 a.m. Monday to investigate an incident. Authorities said Sizemore touched a 13-year-old girl on her rear end twice between 4 and 5 a.m.
