A Columbus woman who repeatedly requested an ambulance to her home in the Sea Breeze Mobile Home Park but rejected help after it arrived was jailed.

Regina Reim, 27, was charged with one count of requesting ambulance service when not needed and taken into custody at 3 a.m. Friday. She was booked into the Muscogee County Jail and released on bond.

Police said Reim was arrested for abuse of emergency medical services on Sept. 11 after making repeated calls for help and refusing treatment and transport after authorities arrived at her Crystal Drive apartment.
