Columbus man allegedly found with $400 worth of Tylenol-codeine pills
A Columbus man was arrested Tuesday afternoon after he was allegedly found with $400 worth of Tylenol-codeine pills, authorities said.
Jacoby Peters, 22, faces one count each of possession of Tylenol-codeine pills with the intent to distribute, possession of drug-related objects and obstruction. He was booked into the Muscogee County Jail for an 8 a.m. Thursday hearing in Columbus Recorder’s Court.
Columbus police have released few details about the incident, but they came in contact with Peters around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. He was allegedly in possession of 20 Tylenol-codeine pills (street value of $400), a digital scale, a prescription bottle with no name or identifiers and 14 pieces of ammunition for a .40 caliber Smith and Wesson.
