Passenger dies when Chevrolet Silverado strikes tree
A passenger in a 2007 Cherolet Silverado was killed when the vehicle left the road and struck a tree Sunday.
According to a report from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, killed was 23-year-old Dustin Lane Paulk of Ramer, Ala.
Ramer is in Montgomery County.
Paulk, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver, 21-year-old Kyle Andrew Harris of Letohatchee, Ala., was taken to the hospital.
The crash occurred at 7:15 a.m. on Hobbie Road, approximately one mile north of Ramer.
Alabama State Troopers are handling the investigation.
