Toys stolen in burglary at Columbus elementary school
Columbus police are investigating a burglary that occurred Sunday afternoon at Mathews Elementary School.
Authorities said one or more people broke into the school’s activity building around 2:47 p.m. and stole $100 worth items, including toys and other trinkets. No other details were immediately released.
Officers were called to the scene around 10:20 a.m. Tuesday to investigate the break-in Mathews Elementary School at 7533 Lynch Road. No one has been named as a suspect in the incident.
