Man charged with raping 15-year-old

An Opelika man was accused of raping a 15-year-old Wednesday morning at an Auburn residence on Lee Road 20, authorities said.

Jaylen D. Williams, 20, faces one count of second-degree rape. He was booked into the Lee County Jail under a $25,000 bond.

Auburn police were called to Lee Road 20 around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday to investigate a rape. The victim's parent told authorities she found Williams at the residence with her 15-year-old daughter.

Capt. Lorenza Dorsey said further investigation indicated that he was "sexually involved" with the victim. He was taken into custody on the scene.
