Columbus man shot twice during break-in
A man was shot twice Monday morning during a break-in at his Curry Street home, according to Columbus police.
The victim was transported to Midtown Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
Authorities were called to the 3900 block of Curry Street around 10:30 a.m. Monday to investigate a possible shooting. They found the victim lying in the entrance to his backdoor suffering from gunshot wounds to his right shoulder and left buttocks.
Lt. Ralph Dowe said the victim came home and found his door open. He went inside and saw two or three men in his home.
They shot him twice and left with some of his belongings. No detailed suspect descriptions were given in the police report.
