Police say man injured by fall after being hit
Columbus police have arrested a 24-year-old Columbus man and charged him with battery with physical visible harm.
According to a police report, Shavaunte Pippins chased another male and hit him. When the victim fell, he suffered a laceration to an elbow.
Pippins was arrested around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
The location of the arrest was Veterans Parkway.
