Shooting leaves one man injured
A man was injured Thursday in an Opelika shooting in the 1700 block of Hurst Street, authorities said.
He was rushed to East Alabama Medical Center to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Opelika police have yet to release any addditional details about what they described as second-degree assault. No suspects were named or described in the police report.
